Hey wait a minute, what happened to September???
I saw an interview yesterday with our failure in chief where he referred to himself as an underdog in the 2012 presidential election.
the definition of an underdog is: a person or group in a competition, frequently in electoral politics, sports and creative works, who is popularly expected to lose. The party, team or individual expected to win is called the favo(u)rite or top dog. In the rare case where an underdog wins, the outcome is an upset. These terms are commonly used in sports betting.[original research?] The use of the term is believed to have come from the job of plank making where the lower saw-pit worker was called the underdog as they were underneath the metal brackets (dogs) which held the log in place.
Let's count the ways that Obama has overcome his underdog status, as he is used to being the underdog: (knowing full well you read all this stuff before)
- after being born somewhere, he was enrolled in a very exclusive, expensive private school in Hawaii.
- He attended Harvard as an affermative action student, however all of his records and papers are sealed.
- While his records, and that of his wifes misdeeds about surrendering her law license after a patient dumping scandal while at the job that was created for her at the U of C hospital were sealed, the Tribune sued to unseal the divorse case records of Jack Ryan, a candidate for Senate. Once the records were unsealed, Ryan withdrew from the election in shame, clearing the way for obama to easily beat crackpot Alan Keyes. obama's records, and that of his wife, remain sealed, and the flimsy excuse for a birth certificate, and the fact that his SS# was assigned from a block not allocated to where he was issued his number remain a mystery - THAT THE PRESS REFUSES TO LOOK INTO.
- While Bill Clinton was derided for his "didn't inhale" comment, Obama escaped scrutiny for his admission of pot and cocaine use.
- While Gov Blago was convicted, partly on his association with Tony Rezko, convicted felon, Obama's association with Rezko escaped scrutiny. Apparently, when a felon wants to help you buy a house, it is not worthy of looking into. note to self...if a felon wants to help you buy a house, he either wants something from you, or he is paying you back for something you did for him.
- Obama wrote 2 best selling books. Now, do you know anyone that read one of these books? Have you ever seen one of these books? or do you think there are warehouses full of unread, unopened books that were bought up to pad his numbers?
- upon winning the election, he immediately was awarded a Nobel peace prize for....wait, what did he do to win the prize again???
- The press attention for his recent wasting of $535 billion on an ill advised green energy company pretty much just went away.
yes - he truly is an underdog NOT. The problem with underachieving people is they consider themselves victims when the same expectations placed on others are placed on them.
