Thusday, October 13
Granted Chicago has a huge budget problem, but the increases in fees and services yesterday can only hasten the migration out of the city, and out of the state. it is becoming too expensive to visit Chicago for a social outing, and far too expensive to make that suckhole of a city your home. I think it is now over 20 bucks for the first 20 minutes to park in a loop lot. is that not nervy? I grew up in Chicago and lived there until I was 16 - times have changed, but I guess they have changed everywhere. and can you honestly say that anything has changed for the better...in the city, state or country? You'd be hard pressed to see any improvement over the last decade or so. or is it just me....
these new ripoffs of the citizens are only the start. with no action on the pension hole, and a dwindling tax base I wonder what is next.
I still say the tax tax is on the horizon.
each day a bit closer to the bottom of the toilet...
