June Already????  What happened to May?  gone like the puddles it left.

I have written in months past about my own opinion, and that is there is no cure for what ails this economy.  Globally, things have never been worse from a financial standpoint.   We have borrowed so much money, the concept of currency is now abstract, almost ludicruous.  Numbers so large the human mind cannot comprehend them.  and yet we continue to print worthless money, rather than fix the issues that are damaging the economy.  While it is clear that Bush left a bushel basket of problems for Obama, the latter's "hope and change" bs is not going to fix anything.  this experiment has been a colossal failure on all levels, and I really wonder if we will make it to 2012 so we can elect someone that can fix what is wrong.  I guess the first step in this process will be to actually figure out what is wrong, as the current leadership clearly has no clue.  It is like a family with credit card bills trying to solve their problem by charging more on their credit cards.  makes no sense.  I guess I can be overy optimistic and figure that someone really must have a plan....but what have we seen to give us that reassurance?  not much.

I guess I will pack my jeep with gear and be ready to take off to the north woods when the poop hits the fan.

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. Fudd   Quinn has come up with yet another bit of geniusness....giving a tax break to families with kids.  http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/pat-quinn-taxes-state-illinois-speech-families-20120128 at a time with a bottomless pit of a budget deficit, and handing out tax breaks to every corporation threatening to leave Illinois, we are cutting more taxes to a special group...now, just who do you suppose will be asked to make up the difference?  and, of course, when the TEMPORARY income tax increase expires, what then. How ya coming on fixing the pension mess, Einstein??? Gov. Quinn:  please tell us your IQ.  If the question confuses you , please make a confused face and answer with your fingers.
