This is so frustrating

I have been off work since September 8. I am by nature a plow horse - I am ready to answer the bell each moring. I have not had a sick day in years. so the down time is really stressful and frustrating. What is even more frustrating is I left a job I really loved for this one because the money was so good. God, was I naive. Although Hewitt (the company I left) has had its issues as well, I had a great team and a challenging job.

I hope this blog will capure the life of a job seeker, and I will do my best to document the ups and downs in hopes that it will benefit the many out of work professionals out there.

God bless us all.

  1. Excellent blog, senator! Of course, you are simply telling it like it is. At this point in my life, I look around and see people my age already retired (early) or planning to. Me, I barely have enough to keep a roof over my head. Where did I go wrong? Should I have gont to law school and become an attorney so I could rake in the dough and settle into a cushy life, living in a gated community, money in the bank,my Jaguar in the driveway, etc etc. Instead, here I am, still struggling, no further along really than when I started out, when you really look at it. Ah well, better go, I am getting depressed. Hang in there,my friend, the tide has got to turn at some point.
