Finally warming up in Chicago.  Last week we had an hour delay to tee off due to a frost delay.  But should be 70 this week.  When it gets hot, the golf ball flies farther.  And if it is going the wrong direction, it will go farther in the wrong direction.

When I started writing this blog in 2008, I was unemployed and wrote extensively about how frustrating it was to be unemployed.  If you go back and read the posts from that time, they are quite morose, if not depressing.  Now, having been unemployed since March 2020, I really don't care.  I spend too much time applying for jobs, but I really am in no hurry to work.  I have had a lot of interviews, and honestly, not one of them was an appealing position.  Regardless of what you read about the job market, it stinks.  I am very fortunate that I can be off work and not be homeless.  So, one of these days I will return to the work world.  Maybe 1Q 2022.  Retirement agrees with me.

I stopped watching all the news shows, and instead watch a lot of Food Channel.  They run an ad for a show "The Worst Cooks In America" and show these inept fools messing up recipes.  It is obviously staged, as no one can be as dumb  as they appear to be.  I need to get on that show, and use sand instead of sugar, drywall epoxy compound instead of mayo and gasoline instead of olive oil.  I will be a slam dunk for worst cook.

ok, I have fulfilled my posting for this month.  maybe next time I will have an original thought to write about.
