It's nice and sunny today.  Supposed to be 50 degrees tomorrow.  Maybe spring is coming.  For some reason I thought tonight was the time change, but it is next week.  It will be nice to get home from work in daylight.  It is really nice in June and July to tee off at 4:00 and finish 18 holds before dark.

I ended up working from home yesterday.  Too lazy to commute.  but will be back on the train Monday, being a robot and a slave to the train schedule. 

The other night after I posted, I had some thought that I meant to post an update, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was.  It was probably very witty and entertaining, as this posting is devoid of both wittiness and entertainment value. 

I got a mailing from American Airlines that I had miles to use on magazines.  So, I selected 6 or 7 of them, and they should be arriving soon.  However, I have done that before, and the delivery of 6 magazines every week or month makes it seem like you are being given the assignment to read them, and I hate tossing them without reading them.  such a quandry.  Is it just me?

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. How ya coming on fixing the pension mess, Einstein??? Gov. Quinn:  please tell us your IQ.  If the question confuses you , please make a confused face and answer with your fingers. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
