One more day until election day. the rhetoric flying around, allegations of fraud....
one thing to remember in all this is, as I have written many times, there is no one that we can elect that can fix this mess. the current condition was decades in the making. the ghost moose has so many parasites on it that plucking time off one by one will likely kill us anyway. there is no one we can elect that will do anything to improve the lot of the middle class....if we elect obama, the social justice/wealth distribution will continue...but it will be the wealth of the middle class being redistributed. if we elect romney, the rich will be encourged to get richer...so the middle class can get jobs building yachts, planes and catering rich people parties.
if it sounds like I've given up, it's because I've given up.
but, I will be voting. I have to keep my streak alive of writing myself in for some meaningless office. maybe I will be elected by accident one year.
