after a beautiful day yesterday, it is back to early spring weather today - cold, rainy.  at least we were able to golf for the first time of the season yesterday.  my game sucked, but it was nice to get out and walk.  and play poorly. watching the news, they were talking about congress looking into the hiring practices of some companies that include asking for an applicant's facebook password.  presumably, the hiring company would look at a person's facebook activity to determine if they should be hired......hey....why don't the applicants just seal their records?  after all, it worked for our president, didn't it? gas prices are supposed to keep rising but level off.  I guess our economic recovery continues. the media frenzy about the murdered teen in florida continues.  it would be nice if black on white crime was reported with such ferocity.  do a search on "wichita massacre" and ask yourself why you did not see any coverage of that crim...

Sunday came and went...didn't find an article worthy of ranting about.  and found no articles to indicate an upswing is on its way...whether it be an improvement in the economy, lower fuel prices, lower crime.  nothing to indicate things are getting better.  debt is on the rise..still.  nothing done on the pension mess.  unless you count the fact that those collecting pensions got a 3% raise.  did you get a 3% raise in your salary?  you got a 66% increase in state income tax, and a 85% increase in the cost to drive the tollway.  maybe it's just me....or maybe not. here is an areal shot..appropos of nothing.
