 I used to post to this blog daily, or more than daily...I haven't posted in over a month.  I must've been busy, although not sure what I was busy doing.  

I spent 9 days in Florida and returned a week ago.  It was nice to see my mom and my family there, and I hope to go back soon.  The flight was 90 bucks round trip.  I did upgrade to first class on the return flight home and it was money well spent...bigger seat, you get to board the plane first, and a pretty woman sat next to me, and we chatted the whole flight.  We shared digits, but I have not heard from her.  like 2 ships passing in the night....

I talked to a former coworker today.  He told me I should be a motivational speaker, and I had a talent for it.  So, I recorded a test video to see what I would look like on youtube.  I must need makeup or more flattering lighting, because I don't think I have the screen presence necessary.  but, I'll give it a go.  I did sort of sound like Donald Sutherland, who I have been told I sound like many times...although I don't hear it.

oh, and I almost forgot.  Today would be my 38th wedding anniversary, if I hadn't gotten divorced 3 years ago.  Maybe the next one will last. lol

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. How ya coming on fixing the pension mess, Einstein??? Gov. Quinn:  please tell us your IQ.  If the question confuses you , please make a confused face and answer with your fingers. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
