DISPATCHES FROM THE GHOST MOOSE

Another 2 weeks passed and I did not post.  I didn't do much, other than sit at a keyboard sending resumes that will not be read.  I had a few phone interviews, but nothing to be encouraged about. Heading to Chicago Saturday.  Will be nice to see the kids, and my granddaughter.  Play golf with the golf buds.  Catch up with some friends, then head to Canada Friday morning (if 2:30 am qualifies as morning).  Me, Kevin, Fred and Greg have been doing this a long time, and it is a very enjoyable journey, from the drive there, the party the night we we get there, the week of fishing, and the drive home.  Seems like only yesterday we were booking the trip at the All Canada show in January.  That was just a few weeks after I had surgery, and I remember being so fatigued walking around the show.  But that was then.  it's a new day. so - If I don't post before I leave Florida, I will catch up soon.  godspeed.

Where does the time go?  and I have nothing to write about time passed. I am getting ready to travel back to Chicago next week, and then to Canada to fish for a week.  It will be good to see my brothers, family, kids and granddaughter and my outdoor buds.  then a long drive to Canada.  and back to Florida a week later. No traction in the job search....at this point I question the intelligence of a move back to Illinois and its taxes.  But I have friends and family there.  so it would be good to be near them once again.  The job market in Florida is dismal, so when I get back from Canada I will have to decide if I want to stay and work retail...oh well...there are worse decisions to make. Canada...my favorite place on this earth.  Something about the solitude of the wilderness that I love.  A week that changes me.  Maybe that is why the 4 of us still regroup every year to do it again.  Not because we love each other's company, ...
