just a quick post.
got up at 530 to leave soon to play golf. and I know there will be a frost delay.  on april 28.
can't wait to leave the piss puddle called Illinois.
and now to put in my contacts and hit the road

 For the past 4 weeks, I have been subbing for a guy on medical leave from his job at an assisted living facility.  So, I have been pushing carts of diapers, oxygen tanks and other supplies.  It is more strenuous work than I have done in a long time.  And I have lost 14 lbs in those 4 weeks.  I forgot what it was like to be tired and sore at the end of the day.  As I tell people as I push my flatbed cart full of supplies "I'm really glad I spent 5 years getting my MBA".  but, it is nice to be busy.  I think I have a week or 2 more of this gig.  Then hopefully the project I was originally going to work on will restart.   At any rate, golf season has started. I played the last 2 weeks, and wasn't bad.  I need to shoot 85 this year.  And I will.  Getting ready to watch NASCAR Talledega race.  Is there a bigger waste of a Sunday?

Good Friday.  I remember when, at catholic school, Good Friday was a big deal.  now, not so much. day 7 in a row at the health club.  last day of vacation.  back to the grind monday.  and 2013 will be 25% gone....wow.  did I ever tell you how fast time flies????  maybe I did. besides me and Kazz, there probably aren't too many Get a Life fans out there.  there was an episode where Chris orders a submarine, and 10 years later a huge box is delivered to his house.  he opens the box and hundreds of parts fall out.....I just spent about 3 hours putting a new gas grill together, and that is what it felt like.  the grill looks great in the store, and when you buy it, they bring out a huge box.  when you get home and open the box, you quickly realize what hell you have taken on.  but it is together.  and ready for use.  grilling....just the right thing to do with your idle hand while drinking beer.  excuse m...
