I wanted to make sure I updated you on Oak Island last night...the season finale....after much digging, they found the treasure....riches beyond your wildest dreams....huge diamonds, gold bars, the lost works of Shakespeare...

actually nothing happened...nothing ever does.   about 20 mins before the end of the episode, they said they were done for the season and would come back next year.  and the saps that watch every week, like me, will once again tune in to watch nothing.

I booked a trip to Tucson for work.  leaving on March 19...my 35th wedding anniversary.  There won't be a 36th.  kind of weird.  but life goes on.

Survivor is on now....it takes about 4 weeks for the show to get some momentum.  which means several more weeks of watching suckage for an hour.  I am not a prude, by any means, but some of the women on survivor should not be wearing the small shorts they are wearing.  but that is just me...(check it out - you will agree)

and thanks KK for the offer of the bulls game.  very nice of you

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. How ya coming on fixing the pension mess, Einstein??? Gov. Quinn:  please tell us your IQ.  If the question confuses you , please make a confused face and answer with your fingers. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
