Last night I stayed downtown and had dinner with my daughter.  It was fun to take her 2 dogs for a walk, have pizza, take them for a second walk.  Then taking the 9:30 train home.  So, tonight, being home and sitting in the same chair I always sit in is back to normal.  Maybe next week I will go to the health club.  I don't want to rush into anything.

after I got home from Tucson, I realized I need to move somewhere warm.  Arizona or Florida.  Since I like the water, and there is no water in AZ, it is Florida.  My lease is up in January and my plan (right now) is to hit the road right after new years.  I guess I should find a job there.  Maybe raking sand traps on the golf course.  After 38 years of the corporate treadmill bullshit, I am ready to be away from that.  Maybe sell my famous pulled pork sandwiches.

At any rate, the plan is launched.  the trick now will be to do it.  just like finishing my book.  Maybe start a service like "Dave Warden's school for business people who don't do business too good"  pardon my Derek Zoolander.

now excuse me while I look for jobs in Florida.  For 10 minutes, then watch the beginning of Tucker Carlson, switching over at 7:15 when I can start survivor and fast forward through the commercials and catch up right before tribal council.  I have been doing this too long, huh?

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. How ya coming on fixing the pension mess, Einstein??? Gov. Quinn:  please tell us your IQ.  If the question confuses you , please make a confused face and answer with your fingers. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
