he is going to implement a secretary of business in his next term...but wait.....didn't he form a "super committee" for jobs in this term?  I know I wrote about that, because I saw right through that at the time...so, since the super committee failed miserably, time to expand government and add not only a secretary of business as a cabinet position...but also a whole new department of the federal government...thousands of seat warmers and layabouts....requiring billions of tax dollars to fund.

did you ever think obama is incapable of succeeding at anything?  I have.

A week ago I was sitting here thinking about surgery in the morning.  And tomorrow will be one week post op.  This weekend was painful. but the last 2 days have been better.  I actually hit some golf balls this morning.  Still limping and I should use the crutches more than I do, but it is amazing how quickly you are up and about after surgery.  20 yrs ago I would have been in the hospital for a few days.  Now in and out in 5 hours.  I haven't blogged or looked at my book in awhile.  Time to make a push and get the book illustrated and done.  Today was the last day of work for a young lady in the office.  When I wished her well, she said to keep in touch and she looked forward to buying a copy of the book when it is published.  so there is one copy spoken for.  starting to look at my gear for the fishing trip.  I ordered this years pair of cheap sunglasses and some fishing gear.  Next weekend I will start going th...

once again, the morning got away from me.  I'll have to get back in the habit of posting early before I go to work...and the day goes to shit.  nice day today, though.  fall is such a pleasant season.  followed by 3 months of suckage.  so, household incomes are down under obama http://news.investors.com/092512-626958-household-income-down-82-under-president-obama.aspx but, the number of those on the government dole are up.  progress...real progress.  romney paid a higher tax rate than 97% of Americans. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/09/25/fact-check-is-romney-tax-rate-really-lower-than-yours/#ixzz27ZSphHft that is not fair - how can letterman joke about that?  maybe he can joke about Romney eating dogs...or wait - that was his messiah.  the one that halle berry and oprah winfrey breathlessly told us was going to be a great president. they was wrong.

 Since my last post, July 8, I went to Canada for the 40 somethingth time for fishing.  The trip was fantastic as always.  And played golf every week.   I played golf yesterday.  It was round 37 for the year.  A real indicator of my age is I am now sore the day after I golf.  I used to play basketball for hours at a time and not be sore at all the next day.  Of course, I haven't played basketball in 16 years.  And for the 10 years before that, I was just taking up space on the bball court. But 50 years ago, I could dunk the ball.  Weakly, but I could dunk. I started writing this blog in 2008 when I was frustrated and disgusted with unemployment and the job search.  Now that I am retired, I look at the posts on Linkedin that are exactly the same things I was writing about then.  I am so glad to not be on that treadmill anymore.   so, look for a new post around Christmas.
