It is starting to look like spring now - the sun is higher in the sky, the days getting longer...we'll get dumped on at least one more time, but the end is in sight...6 weeks (or less) until the first round of golf for the season.  less than 6 months until fishing in Canada, and I know you are all really anxious to see more fishing pictures...

Jewel had a sale on cases of bottled water yesterday. 4 cases for 9 bucks, or 2.25 per case...now, if I had bought that water in Chicago there would have been a tax on each case of $1.20.  Honestly...a 53% tax on water?  but, those penisons aren't gonna pay themselves, are they?

Then there is this garbage...a proposed tax on soda...to help prevent us from ingesting too much sugar...

Now, here's a story that somehow was not covered by the media that fawns over our messiah...after a backbreaking month since her 3 week Hawaii vacation, Michelle Obama is spending the money we commoners saved to spend on peas on an expensive ski vacation in Colorado....gas up that 747...the queen needs another vacation.

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
