Well, I played bball one last time last night...a game I used to somewhat good at...time to hang up the shoes.  At 53 years old, what used to be taken for granted can no longer be done.  plus having about 50 extra pounds on me doesn't help.  but enough about me.

Read the attached stories about oil prices.  We are on the verge of geting gouged yet again.  Stories like these pave the way for out of control gas price increases, and seem to find a way to justify them.   and watch the corporate profit announcements as the oil companies post record profits while selling less gas.

terrible analogy, I know.  that is a most terrible story, and I have a feeling the whole story, when it is finally out there,  will really be bad.  they should take that scumbag Sandusky and put him in the octogon with an mma fighter for 5 minutes.  then put him in jail to be ass raped for a few decades.  what an effin scumbag.

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
