I was digging around the dead stalks from last years annuals, and actually saw some growth emerging from the ground.  Are we there yet?  Is it spring now???  something tells me we will get dumped on one more time.  we shall see.

Mayor Daley, who told us all to quit whining about foreign intervention in our economy, has a nephew that would be charged with a murder, if not for his connections.  and the cop that was the lead detective at that time is now pulling in a $90k pension while getting a salary of $175k as head of streets and san....so his nephew will not be charged with killing someone - who he killed.  read the comments attached to the story, as they are pretty informative too.
so, we should quit whining....because it is not Daley's fault that we will not pull in $50k per speech like that douche will, and our brother is not on odumbo's cabinet, and we have to pay ridiculous taxes to fund his union buddy's pension commitments...quit whining.  because he is royalty, and his relatives can literally get away with murder.

we really need to wise up, people.  too much like this going on and we sit by and watch.

Will winter never end?  This weather sucks - can't do anything outside.  and, looking at the pics I post, you know I love to be outside. so, Gov. finally Friday. due to the overwhelming success of my Ghost Moose story (in my own mind), here is a parable entitled: THE WOLVES In a nice town where wolves were not indigenous, a wolf showed up...then another wolf....then many wolves.  The townspeople asked the government to help them get rid of the wolves...the government said "no - we will set out food for the wolves, and make them places to live".  the townspeople said "but we don't want wolves around here.  they take up space that we townspeople built, and we cannot go there because it is unsafe due to the wolves.  the wolves have gotten into our schools, and our kids cannot learn at the right pace because the teachers are too busy dealing with problems caused by the wolves.  we do not want wolves around, so please stop feeding them and making places for them to live."  The government said no - wolves are ok, and we even want them to vote in your elections.  Get used to the wolves, they ain't goin

Not much left in 2011...and each day we are a bit closer to spring... The toilet that is Illinois will be enacting over 200 new laws at the start of 2012. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/new-year-comes-with-more-than-200-new-illinois-laws-2012-20111228 In these laws, I cannot find: - a law limiting pension abuse, and illegal enrichment - a law limiting the public's exposure to pension debt - a law prohibiting insider deals from  politicians - a law prohibiting municipalities from selling assets that have been paid for by citizens - a law prohibiting illigal aliens from parasitically consuming resources paid for by legal residents the list could go on forever.  these 200 new laws are largely to keep the middle class in line so the rich can continue to be richer. and if you throw out your compter, prepare to be fined. Illinois - what a shithole.
