DISPATCHES FROM THE GHOST MOOSE

I put the hallmark channel on to see what Christmas movie was on... and the theme is a woman who needs a liver transplant to keep living.  No...sorry.  I will only watch the movies with a divorced man with a young daughter seeking to find Christmas spirit, or a woman who is caring for her aged mother, and falls in love with the guy that delivers ice.  But, please leave liver transplants out of the Hallmark movies.  And have more Catherine Bell too. on a serious note, my friend's dad, and my dad, passed away last week.  such a lovely wake and funeral ceremony.  at the wake, I was floored when a pic of me and Leon was shown on the display...so flattering that I was considered part of his family. Me and Leon...1978, and at his 90th bday party.  I was so honored to be thought of in that way....live on, folks...live on.

It has been a few weeks since my last post.  I really need to write more.  I have a book I started noodling on, and haven't done anything on that for ages.  I am the same way with reading books; I will read for a few weeks then not pick up a book for a month. anyway, winter hit on Halloween and has not left.  We haven't played golf for a month and still hope to play once more before the real winter sets in. Hard to believe I left Florida for this....but I did so onward.  My contract gig is up in 2 weeks, so I need to get moving on the job search, too. I was watching Survivor tonight and when 8 o'clock hit, the show was still on...it was a 2 hr episode.  Since I was only geared to watching it for one hour, I was put off for the show imposing on me like that.  how dare they. I see the hallmark channel is running Christmas movies. I have to start watching them.  or watch one because they are all the same.
