another 10 day gap in posting.  I still sit at the keyboard looking for jobs for too long each day, but also since I am in Florida I also get outside way more than I did in Chicago.  Still looking for jobs in Chicago and in Florida, so that may change.  but it is very nice to be able to walk each day.  It is hot today and I walked at the beach at sunrise.  very nice.  so, while I am in Florida, I will have to take advantage of each day, and I believe I have. I also need to start my next book.  I wrote a few paragraphs a month ago, but haven't done much else.  I need a muse.

Happy Valentines day.  I checked the page views today and saw I had 146 views from Belgium this week, and 46 from the US.  Thanks a lot US readers.  Also, to the Belgian readers, I really like chocolate.  Can you send me some?  I am about 2 months post radioactive seed implant.  Still having some of the side effects (the need to immediately pee) but no more fatigue.  So all in all, I can't complain.  I will get a blood test in a few weeks to see if the cancer is under control.  and why would it not be?  and, if you haven't done so (and only one of you has done so) I highly recommend going to a warmer climate during the shit weather that engulfs the Chicago area each year, from November to May.  Believe me, it works wonders.

I let 9 days pass since my last post.  and not for lack of sitting in front of a computer.  The job search continues, albeit slowly.  My lack of traction isn't much different from other job seekers I know, so I can't get too frustrated.  But it will be good to be busy once again.  I have been walking each day, and the fatigue I had from the radiation is not nearly as bad as it was a month ago.  I think the radiation seeds have another month of life before they are kaput.  I know I have a blood test in March to check the PSA level. and with that, it is now time to walk.
