DISPATCHES FROM THE GHOST MOOSE

This is really summer - scorching hot weather, grass is turning brown, folks staying inside like they do when it's cold in the winter. This time of year is here and gone so quickly - I always say that it can't be too hot for me. I hate the winter weather more each year. Played golf this morning - so nice that it gets light early and the weather is so good for golf. Like I said - enjoy it while it lasts. very busy at work. time sure flies when you are immersed in a project. I continue to make progress on the things that I identified to do when I started this job in March 09. Getting a lot done, and helping the company keep pace with growth, which very few companies can say they are doing these days. Things are still so bad in the economy. I have a few neighbors that were, or are going to be downsized. Boy, do I know how they feel (as my first posts will attest). anyway - time to enjoy what is left of this Sunday. have a good week, all.

Summer is really here - the heat and humidity can be a bit much, but I still prefer it to cold weather. before we know it, this weather will be gone for a long time. Summer marches on - the 4th is about the midpoint of summer. Played golf on Saturday, going to the parade today. bbqing later. then back to work tomorrow. very busy at work with ongoing business and some new initiatives. good to be busy, I suppose. going back to the initial reason I started this blog, I won't complain about working hard. because working hard allows you the opportunity to appreciate a day off like today - to pull weeds, go to a parade, sit on the deck with a beer, etc. so, have a good 5th, all.
